About Sheltowee Environmental Education Coalition
The Sheltowee Environmental Education Coalition (SEEC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity whose primary mission is environmental education and wetland restoration. Comprised of a small group of dedicated individuals, SEEC helps by organizing and instructing classes for students and professionals where participants learn about wetlands and streams, and how to restore them.
SEEC serves as an active partner to assist agencies and nonprofits secure and manage funding for building wetlands, streams, and hosting training workshops. SEEC is very interested in helping dedicated individuals design and build wetlands that provide habitat for rare species of amphibians, birds, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, and plants important to pollinators.
SEEC is unique by not charging overhead or administrative fees. We ask that you consider donating money to SEEC. We’ll use your gift to build the best habitats possible that will require little if any maintenance. Your money will be used to build wetlands and streams, not to pay for overhead. Together we can show and teach others how they can improve habitat for rare species in their community.
